According to Crimea’s head, Sergey Aksyonov, nine drones were either shot down or jammed during the course of the previous night. One of them exploded in the village of Dokuchayevo, shattering windows in a number of residential buildings.
“During this night and morning, nine drones were seen over Crimea’s territory: six were downed by air defense systems and three were jammed and forced to land by electronic warfare means. One drone detonated in the village of Dokuchayevo. No one was hurt. Windows were broken in several houses,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Simferopol, the capital of Crimea, is about 40 kilometers away from the settlement of Dokuchayevo.
On June 4, during the night, a previous massive drone strike on Crimea took place. Four more drones were jammed after five drones were shot down. In Dzhankoi, one drone crashed, shattering the windows of one car and three private residences.
