18 years after their first relationship ended in failure, celebrity pair Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck wed this past weekend in Las Vegas, according to court documents.
According to a marriage license they submitted in Clark County, Nevada, which AFP was able to view, the couple was married on Saturday.
Affleck, Benjamin Geza and Lopez, Jennifer are listed as the wedding’s participants, while Lopez’s “new name” is given as Affleck, Jennifer.
The two, who are 49 and 52 respectively, originally connected on the set of the critically panned film “Gigli” in 2002.
This is Lopez’s fourth marriage and Affleck’s second.
In a February interview with People, Lopez talked about her revived romance with Affleck.
We received a second opportunity, which is a lovely love tale, she remarked.
Prior to her current marriage, Lopez was previously wed to musician Marc Anthony, dancer Cris Judd, and actor Ojani Noa, with whom she has twins Max and Emme, age 14.
Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10, are the children of Affleck and Jennifer Garner, an actress.
