Russia is ready to hand over cyber criminals to the US

Russian President Vladimir Putin has said his country is ready to hand over cybercriminals to the United States based on mutual agreement. Russia’s state-run news agency Taser reported on Sunday.

According to CNN, Putin told state TV channel Rosia-1 that Russia and the United States should make equal commitments. Russia would naturally do so if the United States retaliated. He also called for the return of those identified as criminals in Russia.

US President Joe Biden will meet with Putin on June 16 in Geneva, Switzerland. Putin gave such a message before the meeting.

Biden also spoke about the upcoming meeting. Speaking at the G7 summit in the United Kingdom, Biden said he was “encouraged” and “compromised” by Putin’s remarks earlier. But he also warned that Putin was changing his behaviour.

Meanwhile, US State Department spokesman Ned Price has already spoken about the Putin-Biden meeting. He said the cyberattacks would be discussed at a meeting of the two leaders.
