World cricket legend Muttiah Muralitharan has been admitted to hospital with a heart attack.
Muralitharan, the mentor of the IPL team Sunrisers Hyderabad, went to Chennai and suddenly fell ill. He was taken to Apollo Hospital after realizing his illness.
Doctors have performed angioplasty on Muralitharan. So far he is reported to be healthy.
Hyderabad chief executive Shanmuganathan told the media that Murali had gone to see doctors in Sri Lanka before coming to the IPL due to a heart blockage.
