The Barisal Children and Youth Forum have made seven recommendations to the mayor demanding an increase in ward-wise allocation of funds in the budget of Barisal City Corporation for the welfare of children and youth during the Corona epidemic.

Submitted recommendations to the BCC are, Continue to allocate a sector-wise specific budget for child protection in Barisal City Corporation, arrange awareness among the people in Barisal City Corporation about COVID-19, and separate miking and awareness activities to stop child marriage and child labor. Increase allocations for child labor, disabled and high-risk families engaged in child labor under the enclosure project, allocate a separate budget for children in the epidemic health sector so that no child is deprived of health services during the epidemic, special allocation in training for youth and youth at home at this time.
