27,325 pilgrims reach Saudi Arabia 

According to the Hajj bulletin, 27,325 pilgrims from Bangladesh have already arrived in Saudi Arabia over the four days of Hajj travel.

Director of the Bangladesh Hajj Office Lokman Hossain reported that 58 flights had reached Jeddah by 10 a.m. today.

According to Lokman, 78,500 Bangladeshis have been permitted to do the Hajj this year, and 660 agencies—30 head agencies and 630 coordinating agencies—are in charge of overseeing the Hajj under the privatized system.

According to airline-wise data, 10,747 pilgrims arrived on 26 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 9,782 on 25 flights of Saudi Airlines and 6,796 on 17 flights of Flynas Airlines.

The remaining 50,964 Hajj pilgrims will reach gradually with designated Airlines, the director said. 

According to hajj office information, a total of 4,565 pilgrims will perform Hajj under the government management and 73,935 under the private arrangement. 

Subject to moon sighting, the holy Hajj will be held in Saudi Arabia on May 26.
