Pakistani HC calls on Cultural Affairs Adviser

Imran Haider, the recently appointed Pakistani High Commissioner to Bangladesh, paid Cultural Affairs Advisor Mostofa Sarwar Farooki a courtesy call at his ministry office this afternoon.

Throughout the discussion, they conveyed hope that the current amicable ties between the citizens of the two Muslim Ummah fraternal nations would be further reinforced in the days ahead.

They noted that new paths to mutual understanding and knowledge might be paved by the two South Asian countries’ rich cultural legacy, shared customs, way of life, and literature.

Both sides emphasized the importance of enhancing cultural cooperation through the exchange of cultural troupes and television programmes, which would contribute to deepening people-to-people connectivity.

Secretary of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs Md Mofidur Rahman was present at the meeting.
