According to trading statistics, the price of Brent crude oil futures contracts for July 2025 delivery on London’s ICE has fallen below $59 per barrel for the first time since April 9.
At 10:00 p.m. GMT on May 4, 1:00 a.m. Moscow time, Brent’s price had dropped 4.54% to $58.88 per barrel.
At 10:17 p.m. GMT on May 4, or 1:017 a.m. Moscow time, Brent was down 4.15% to $58.9 a barrel. Concurrently, WTI oil futures for June 2025 delivery dropped 4.28% to $55.88 per barrel.
