At today’s COP-29 global climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, Lu Alckmin, wife of Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin, paid a visit to Bangladesh Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.
According to a message received here, they addressed topics of mutual interest throughout the encounter.
He received a book written by the Brazilian second lady about the 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate.
Alckmin claimed that after reading Prof. Yunus’ book, she was inspired to translate it and start a social enterprise in her nation.
Prof Yunus stressed the need for increased trade and cooperation between Bangladesh and largest latin economy Brazil.
Senior Secretary and Principal Coordinator of SDG Affairs Lamiya Morshed was present during the meeting.
