The storm was downgraded to a tropical depression after it pulled roofs off buildings, sank boats, and triggered landslides, and the death toll from Typhoon Yagi in Vietnam rose to 14 on Sunday.

State media reported that a landslide killed a family of four in the mountainous Hoa Binh province of northern Vietnam early Sunday morning.
According to VNExpress, the landslide occurred at approximately midnight, following several hours of torrential rainfall caused by Yagi. The hillside collapsed onto a residence.
The disaster management agency of the defense ministry reported on Sunday that 10 additional individuals have died in storm-related incidents since Friday, with some being crushed by falling trees or drifting vessels.
