Europe’s main stock markets dropped at the start of trading on Monday following losses in Asia.

London’s FTSE 100 index shed 0.7 percent to 8,193.15 points, reports BSS.

In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 index retreated 0.7 percent to 7,668.32 points and Frankfurt’s DAX fell 0.2 percent to 18,705.85.
