Russia says destroyed 30 Ukrainian drones

Russia’s defence ministry on Tuesday said its forces had downed 30 Ukrainian drones fired overnight in border areas between the two countries.

“The anti-air defence systems destroyed 29 drones in the Belgorod region and one in Voronezh,” it said on Telegram.

Ukraine asserted Following reports of explosions at a munitions site in the Ukraine-bordering Voronezh area by the local governor, it struck an ammunition stockpile within Russian territory on Tuesday.

In what it claims is payback for Russian strikes that have destroyed its own power grid throughout the two-year war, Kyiv has increased its attacks on military and energy targets in Russia.

A place surrounded by fields and trees was the scene of multiple loud explosions and a blazing fire, according to footage released by the local state media.
