Biman launches ‘Smart call center’

Today, Biman Bangladesh Airlines officially opened its “Smart call center” at the Biman main office in Balaka, with the goal of providing smart and contemporary service to the nation’s airline passengers.

Shafiul Azim, the managing director and chief executive officer of the national flag carrier, called the smart call center’s short code number, 13636, to officially open it.

Among those in attendance were Biman Director of Marketing and Sales, Mohammad Salahuddin, as well as other Biman representatives and media journalists.

The CEO of Biman stated that the company started the call center with its own management system and that it is now in its first stages. But in order to maintain timely operations, the airline will soon hire college students as part-time employees.

Additionally, he disclosed that in order to improve the services even more, the call center will relocate to a different structure and that cutting-edge features will be added to the offering.
