UK annual inflation drops to 3.4% in February

According to official figures released on Wednesday, the annual inflation rate in Britain fell from 4.0 percent in January to 3.4 percent in February.

The rate is still much higher than the Bank of England’s two percent objective, even with the somewhat better-than-expected decline and the lowest inflation since September 2021.
