US-Bangla to start Abu Dhabi flights from Apr 19

Beginning on April 19, US-Bangla Airlines, a private airline in the nation, will operate daily direct flights from Dhaka and Chattogram to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

US-Bangla currently flies to Dubai and Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates; Abu Dhabi will be its third destination there, according to a press statement issued today.

As part of its future ambitions, the airline has chosen to offer flights to Abu Dhabi in response to the demand from Bangladeshi expatriates.

The airline scheduled direct flights on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday between Dhaka and Abu Dhabi; on the Chittagong-Abu Dhabi route, US Bangla will fly on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.

To travel from Dhaka and Chittagong to Abu Dhabi, the minimum one-way ticket is Taka 41,155, and the return fare is Taka 71,300.

Tickets for the Abu Dhabi flight, which is scheduled to be flown by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, are on sale now through all US-Bangla distribution channels at the same time.

There are now 23 aircraft in the US-Bangla fleet, consisting of one 436-seat Airbus 330-300, nine Boeing 737-800, ten ATR 72-600, and three Dash8-Q400 models.

In order to accommodate flights to Jeddah this year, US Bangla intends to add another Airbus 330-300 to its fleet later this month.

Currently, US-Bangla offers flights to Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Male, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Kolkata, and Chennai in addition to Dubai and Sharjah.

Besides, international routes, US-Bangla is operating domestic flights especially from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, Chattogram, Sylhet, Saidpur, Jashore and Rajshahi.
