Today, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was called by Motwalli Hazrat Sheikh Khalid Abdul Quader Monsoor Al Jilani (R) of Bagdad Sharif, Iraq, to perform jiarat at the Shrine of Boro Pir Abdul Quader Jilani (R).

Additionally, he gave the Prime Minister a gilaf of the Shrine and a picture of Jalipaak.
The Motwalli mentioned that there is good connections between Bangladesh and Iraq and that the people of Bangladesh have great regard for the Boro Pir.Following the tragic Nimtoli fire event, Sheikh Hasina claimed to have adopted two Shia girls and planned their marriage rituals, much like she would have her own children.
