Dhaka, Riyadh talk on enhancing trade, connectivity

Today, Dhaka and Riyadh held talks about improving connectivity, trade, and investment between the two friendly countries.

During the Third South Summit of the G 77 and China, Saudi Arabia’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Waleed El Khereiji, paid a visit to Uganda’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Hasan Mahmud, and they had a discussion.

Khereiji congratulated Mahmud on taking up his new position as Foreign Minister during the meeting on Sunday. The two dignitaries also discussed various issues of mutual interest.

The team from Bangladesh is being led by the foreign minister to Kampala, Uganda for the 19th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Summit as well as the Third South Summit of the G-77 and China.

Dr. Hasan Mahmud, the foreign minister, is accompanied by Foreign Secretary Masud Bin Momen, Bangladesh Permanent Representative to the UN Muhammad A Muhith, and Bangladesh High Commissioner to Kenya and Uganda Tareque Muhammad.
