India to host 2nd Voice of Global South Summit

In an effort to communicate with the nations of the Global South the main conclusions of the numerous G20 summits India presided over, the country will host the second Voice of the Global South Summit (VOGSS) on Friday.

The problems faced by global changes will be discussed during the virtual summit, according to sources from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) here today.

It will provide a forum for talking about how to maintain the momentum created by the shared goal of a more progressive, inclusive, and representative global order.

The 2nd VOGSS will be structured into 10 sessions. The inaugural and concluding sessions would be at Head of State/Government level, and hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“Together, for Everyone’s Growth, with Everyone’s Trust” is the topic of the inaugural leaders’ session, while “Global South: Together for One Future” is the theme of the concluding leaders’ session.There will also be eight ministerial sessions with different subjects.

On January 12–13, 2023, India held the first-ever virtual Voice of Global South Summit (VOGSS). According to insiders, this innovative project brought together 125 Global South nations to discuss their goals and points of view on a single platform.
