This afternoon, the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will brief the media at a news conference about the outcomes of her attendance at the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session in New York.
“The press conference will be held at the premier’s official Ganabhaban residence at 4pm on Friday,” Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim told BSS.
Following the conclusion of her 16-day official trip to the USA and the UK, the Prime Minister arrived back at home on Wednesday.
She visited the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington DC during her trip in New York and Washington, DC, which lasted from September 17 to September 29. She also attended the UNGA session as well as other high-level side and bilateral engagements.
The Prime Minister attended a reception hosted by the Bangladeshi community in London while she was in the UK from September 30 to October 3. She also held numerous polite meetings during her visit from September 30 to October 3.
