The 19th Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou from September 23 to October 8th, attracted a sizable delegation of competitors from Bangladesh today (Tuesday).
Men’s and women’s hockey, a shooting team, and women’s football were all represented by Bangladesh.
The contingent consists of twenty-six members of the women’s football team, twenty-two members of the hockey team, twenty-one members of the shooting squad, and officials.
Women’s hockey and football competitions will start on September 22 while shooting events will start on September 24.
The Olympic Association’s secretary general, Syed Shahed Reza, traveled with the competitors that day.
The first set of Olympic athletes to arrive in China was the men’s football team on last Saturday.
