Youthnet Provides Relief to 300 Flood Victims in Bandarban

The Bandarban households impacted by the worst floods in history have received food donations and necessary medications from the environmental nonprofit ‘Youthnet Climate for Justice’.

These everyday necessities have been supplied to the locals of Bandarban’s Balaghata, Islampur, and Kabiraj Para villages, who were impacted by the floods.

Other central and district branch leaders were present, along with Youthnet Coordinator for Communication and Network Development Zimran Md. Sayek, Youthnet Bandarban District Coordinator Sajjad Hossain, and others. The Bangladesh Army soldiers from the Bandarban army zone have contributed to a well-organized distribution of aid.

Apart from distribution of food items, they run campaigns on women’s health safety during crisis and distribute reusable sanitary napkins.

Meanwhile, they conducted this awareness campaign among the women in the flooded areas of Balaghata Bharakhali, Islampur, Kabiraj Para area of Bandarban.
