Djokovic halted by Wimbledon curfew

In their Wimbledon round of 16 match on Sunday, Novak Djokovic and Hubert Hurkacz were up two sets to one when play was suspended due to an established local curfew.

In his 100th match of the competition, Djokovic was leading the Pole 7-6 (8/6), 7-6 (8/6) when it was called to end before the 11 o’clock time limit.

On Monday, the two will restart their match, with the winner advancing to the semifinals to take on Andrey Rublev.

In search of a record-tying eighth victory at the All England Club and his 24th Grand Slam victory overall, the defending champion Djokovic.
