Bhutanese King makes a quick visit to Dhaka

Today, Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck visited Dhaka for a short time.

The King was welcomed by Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, in Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The Bhutanese monarch stayed for almost an hour, greeting everyone.

He left the capital of Bhutan and traveled to Dhaka before continuing on to Bangkok.
