On July 10 and 11, the Chattogram City corporate (CCC) health department would offer ward level corona vaccine at its corporate territory.
Pfizer Variant Containing Vaccine (VCV) 3rd and 4th doses and Sinopharma 1st and 2nd doses will be delivered to anyone aged 18 and up during the drive.
During a coordination meeting, CCC Chief Health Officer Dr Salim Akhtar Chowdhury said that the CCC will administer ward level corona vaccination on July 10 and 11 in its own territory.
He stated that the number of covid instances is dropping in comparison to previous years, and that people are becoming more relaxed.
Furthermore, persons in slum areas who have not yet had the corona immunization should be vaccinated. In order to administer the Covid-19 immunization program at the upcoming ward level drive, he urged all Zonal Medical Officers to develop a particular action plan and conduct the vaccination program.
The coordination meeting was attended by CCC health standing committee member and councilor Abdus Salam Masum, Health Officer Dr. Md. Imam Hossain Rana, Zonal Medical Officer Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Dr. Tapan Kumar Chakraborty, Dr. Md. Hasan Murad, Dr. Akil Mahmud, Dr. Jewel Mahajan, and others.
