European stock markets climbed at the start of trading on Tuesday as investors awaited the latest US inflation reading that could determine the Federal Reserve’s next move on interest rates.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index rose 0.2 percent to 7,588.15 points. In the eurozone, Frankfurt’s DAX index gained 0.6 percent to 16,192.80 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.6 percent to 7,296.29, reports BSS.
