Xi Jinping may visit Russia in coming months

According to sources cited by the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping may visit Russia shortly.

The publication states that the visit’s planning is in its early stages and that no dates have been determined. The journey could possibly take place in April or May.

The Chinese president meant to push for multiparty peace talks and to reiterate the unacceptableness of the use of nuclear weapons, according to the people familiar with the specifics of the potential visit who spoke to the newspaper.
