SS Rajamouli’s RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’ wins Best Original Song

The greatest work of filmmaker SS Rajamouli, “RRR,” won the 2023 Golden Globe for Best Original Song for the song “Naatu Naatu.”

The song was written by Kala Bhairavi and Rahul Sipligunj and was composed by MM Keeravaani, a seasoned music director.

‘Naatu Naatu’ was nominated alongside Taylor Swift’s ‘Carolina’ from ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’, ‘Ciao Papa’ from ‘Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio’, Lady Gaga’s ‘Hold My Hand’ from ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ and Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up’ from ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’.

Keeravaani praised his team and congratulated N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan for their singing on the song when winning the award at the 2023 Golden Globes.

He said, “Thank you NT Rama Rao Jr and Ram Charan danced in full stamina on the song.”

Following the win, the official Twitter handle of ‘RRR’ congratulated Keeravaani by sharing a picture of him holding the trophy. They wrote, “LEGENDARYYYYYY MM KEERAVAANI!!.”

At the annual awards ceremony, “RRR” was nominated twice: for Best Non-English Language Film and Best Original Song for “Naatu Naatu.”

After the worldwide simultaneous release of the 2017 blockbuster “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam at the beginning of this year, this was Rajamouli’s first endeavor. The movie gained a tremendous amount of support in many nations, including the US and Japan.
