It was rumored since 2021 that a family relationship is going to develop between these two Afridis, the talk of Pakistan cricket. According to the Pakistani media, Shaheen liked Shaheed Afridi’s elder daughter Ansa from a long time ago.
Shaheen’s family contacted Shaheed Afridi’s family after knowing that. Afridi did not agree at first but later accepted the proposal. After that, Ansa and Shaheen got engaged with the consent of both families.
According to Pakistani media reports, Shaheen is going to marry Ansa, the elder daughter of former Pakistani all-rounder Shahid Afridi on February 3. He has also applied for leave from the Pakistan Cricket Board on the occasion of marriage. Shaheen will join Lahore Qalandars camp to play PSL after marriage.
Incidentally, Shaheen’s future wife Ansa is studying medicine in London. Several times she was also seen at the cricket ground to watch her father and future husband play.
