PM Sheikh Hasina urges foreign businessmen to invest in Bangladesh

The country has developed into the most advantageous location for it, according to Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who today urged foreign businessmen and entrepreneurs to choose Bangladesh for investment and sourcing.

“I urge the foreign businessmen to choose Bangladesh for investment and sourcing to avail the win-win situation and convenience of business as Bangladesh is the best place for it,” she said.

She made this call while serving as the chief guest at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center’s (BICC) opening ceremony for the first-ever “Made in Bangladesh Week-2022.”

The Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) planned a week-long event to demonstrate to the world the potential of the nation’s garment industry.

Additionally, Sheikh Hasina urged businesspeople in the nation to collaborate with foreign nations so that local industries could benefit from their technology and expertise.

“To welcome foreign investment, I urge local businessmen to explore your foreign partners. You can utilize their technology and knowledge in our industry. Now an excellent investment environment prevails in Bangladesh. So, avail this opportunity,” she said.

Sheikh Hasina said the policy of Bangladesh is investment-friendly. The duty-free quota-free (DFQF) access of Bangladeshi products to different foreign markets attracts world investors, she said.
