Inauguration ceremony of Bangabandhu Olympiad and Shikkangan.com held at IMLI

On July 27, 2022, the opening ceremony of Bangabandhu Olympiad and Shikkangan.com was held at the International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) located at Shegunbagicha in the capital city of Bangladesh.

Dr Dipu Moni (MP), Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Education was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Mr. Prof. Dr. Sajjad Hossain, Bangladesh University Grants Commission (UGC) was present as special guests.

Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, Honorable Member, University Grants Commission (UGC); Mr. Md. Altaf Hossain, Project Director, IDEA Project, ICT Division; Mr. Md. Abul Bashar, Executive Director, Financial Inclusion Department, Bangladesh Bank and Mr. M. Reazul Karim FCMA, Honorable Managing Director and CEO, The Prime Bank Limited was also present there as Honorable Special Guests. Our honorable guests attended the program at 7:00 PM.

A full-day education fair that ran from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM was planned. Various academic institutions’ students attended the fair. Also scheduled at this time was a tesseract workshop on “Robotics and New Generation.” Students that passed by also signed up for free Premier Shikkhangon Debit Cards. Only yesterday’s visitors were eligible for the offer.

The program came to an end with a speech from the honorable chief guest, Dr. Dipu Moni MP, Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Education, and the awarding of prizes to the students who participated in and earned the most points through the Bangabandhu Olympiad online academic game in a 5-day campaign. The Honorable Chief Guest Dr. Dipu Moni MP also introduced the Premier Shikkhangon Debit Card and inaugurated BangabandhuOlympiad.com and  Shikkhangon.com.
