Prachantakham Mini-half Marathon to launch in Prachin Buri

The first Prachantakham Mini-Half Marathon will be held on August 28, 2022, in the Prachantakham District of Prachin Buri Province, and the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) cordially invites participants and spectators.

The event, which includes a 5-km Fun Run, 10.5-km Mini Marathon, and 21-km Half Marathon, aims to raise money to help local underprivileged and disabled people live better lives, to promote walking and running for everyone’s good health and exercise, and to help promote the Prachantakham region’s natural tourist attractions.

Registration for those wanting to run in the 1st Prachantakham Mini-half Marathon – which is being held at the Prachantakham District Office – is open until 18 August 2022 (or until 1,000 participants have registered) via https://paiwing.com/event/prachantakam-mini-half-marathon/.

The entrance cost for the Fun Run is 450 Baht, the Mini Marathon is 500 Baht, and the Half Marathon is 600 Baht (includes a Finisher shirt at the end of the race). For any of the three distances, a VIP entry fee of 1,000 Baht is offered, which also includes souvenirs.

Sunday, August 28’s event schedule kicks off at 05:20 with registration and warm-up exercises. The 10.5-km Mini Marathon begins at 06.00 hours, followed by the 5-km Fun Run at 06:15 hours. The 21-km Half Marathon begins at 05.30 hours. At 7:30 a.m., an award presentation will be placed.

East of Bangkok, in the Prachantakham District, is a distance of around 150 km.
