Apple and Major League Baseball announce August “Friday Night Baseball” doubleheader schedule

The “Friday Night Baseball” schedule for August 2022 was revealed today by Apple and Major League Baseball (MLB). Only on Apple TV+, you may still watch scheduled games for free. Weekly announcements will be made on the announcers’ game assignments for “Friday Night Baseball.”

“Friday Night Baseball” live pre and postgame coverage will continue to be hosted by Lauren Gardner, along with a rotating group of analysts and former MLB players, including Carlos Peña, Cliff Floyd, and Yonder Alonso, and former MLB umpire Brian Gorman will continue to offer rules analysis and interpretation.

Only on the Apple TV app, fans can enjoy “Friday Night Baseball” games and additional programming, including brand-new, exclusive shows like “Countdown to First Pitch” for a preview of the upcoming week’s matches and “MLB Daily Recap.”

Fans can effortlessly follow their preferred teams in Apple News and view customized MLB highlights directly in the News app. Every Friday, fans can just touch to watch “Friday Night Baseball” in the Apple TV app while taking in a carefully selected selection of highlights and stories from across the league.

Fans may access a selection of vintage songs honoring baseball in Apple Music, as well as special playlists of hitters’ walk-up music from teams featured on “Friday Night Baseball” each week.
