A sophisticated rocket-launcher system was sent to Ukraine for the first time on Friday, adding to the country’s expanding stockpile of long-range Western artillery, which Kyiv claims is altering the nature of battle.
Oleksiy Reznikov, the defense minister of Ukraine, posted on social media that “the first MLRS M270 have arrived” without identifying the nation that sent them.
He continued, “They will be wonderful company for HIMARS on the battlefield,” alluding to freshly introduced US precision rocket systems.
