Bangladesh ranks 103rd in Henley Passport Index 2022

Bangladesh has jumped five places to 103rd place out of 116 countries in the Henley Passport Ranking-2022 strong passport index.

Bangladesh shares its current rank with Kosovo and Libya, according to the newest edition of the Henley Passport Index 2022 Q1.

Japan and Singapore were ranked first and second, respectively, on the survey, while Myanmar was ranked 97th.

The Henley Passport Index, according to its website, is the “original, definitive ranking of all the world’s passports based on the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa.”

The index is built using proprietary data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the world’s largest and most accurate travel information database, as well as research by Henley and Partners.
