The one-day summit was held on Tuesday at Walton Hi-Tech Industries Limited in Chandra, Gazipur (September 7). Walton’s achievements in the manufacturing of technology items, the utilization of new technologies, the demonstration of research and invention, and the exchange of knowledge are all examples of this (knowledge sharing).
Researchers and specialists from Bangladesh’s engineering and technology sectors, as well as about a thousand Walton engineers, attended the conference.
Professor Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, a notable writer and academician in Bangladesh, and BRAC University Distinguished Professor and Professor of Computer Science, cut the ribbon to start the summit this morning. Guests explored the ‘Research and Innovation’ booths, which were set up independently for each of Walton’s products, in the first edition of the summit. At the time, the R&D engineers in charge of each product explained the technological advancements, research, and inventive activities in domestic product manufacturing. The Walton Research and Innovation Center’s nameplate was presented. The guests introduced the Research and Innovation brochure in the second program.
