Bangladesh posts highest single-day COVID-19 death

Bangladesh today recorded 231 new coronaviruses (COVID-19) deaths, the greatest number in a single day since the pandemic began, and 13,321 new cases, the second-highest in a single day since the pandemic began.

According to the DGHS, 84.25 percent of those who were infected from the start recovered, while 1.62 percent died.
