Mackenzie Scott, the ex-wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, has donated another USD 2.7 billion. She said on social media on Tuesday (June 15th) that the money had been donated to hundreds of charities. Since 2020, She has donated USD 8.5 billion total.
As McKenzie writes, I believe in a balanced distribution of wealth. It is better not to have those in the hands of a few people in society. In 2019, after divorcing Jeff Bezos, Mackenzie acquired a 4 per cent stake in Amazon. The value of which is three and a half-billion dollars.
According to Forbes, Mackenzie is still the 22nd richest person in the world after so many donations. Whose total assets amount to US$57.0 billion.
