The Central Government is going to announce the National Film Award in India in the name of Sushant Singh Rajput. Such news was heard on the first death anniversary of the late actor.
The government claims that Sushant’s name has already been proposed to the National Film Awards Committee. According to the political circles, it is the bureaucracy that is delaying the implementation of the plan.
It is learned that the central government is going to take steps in this regard as soon as possible. This plan has stalled due to some rules and regulations. Hopefully, this special award will be launched very soon.
In addition to the nominated award, multiple proposals were accepted earlier to honour the late actor. But none has been implemented yet. For example, Sushant’s biopic was not made even after the announcement.
