Thousands of corpses in the Ganges in India

In the last few days, numerous bodies have been found floating in rivers in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar in India. Even videos of coronavirus dead floating in the river have spread on social media in the country.

A report in West Bengal’s Bengali daily Anandabazar on Saturday said innumerable bodies had been buried on the banks of the Ganges in 26 districts of Uttar Pradesh. More than 2,000 bodies have been buried on the banks of the river in a 1,140-kilometer journey across the Ganges.

Bijnor, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Bulandshahr, Hapur, Aligarh, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Kanauj, Kanpur, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Fatehpur, Prayagraj, Pratapraj, Ejparaj, Pratapraj Scene seen. The situation in Kanpur, Kanauj, Unnao, Gazipur and Balia is the worst.

The same picture is seen near Shereshwar Ghat in Kanpur. The corpse is on the side where the eyes are falling. Locals say more than four hundred bodies have been buried there. Some bodies are coming out of the ground. Besides, kites and vultures are also crowding. The country’s environmentalists fear that these bodies will spread infection and pollution later.
