The destroyed building in Gaza had several media offices

The Israeli army has bombed an international media building in Gaza, including Al Jazeera and AP several media offices were located in that building. The occupying forces carried out the attack in the Gaza Strip on Saturday (May 15).

The building housed the offices of Al Jazeera, the Middle East Eye, the Associated Press, and several other media outlets.

Journalists were given an hour to leave before the building was blown up by the Israeli Airforce.

Al Jazeera reporters said they have been using the building as an office for the past 15 years. Journalists were unable to bring out many important documents and equipment.

Israeli intelligence refused to provide additional time before the building was demolished.

Several journalists have covered the devastation live on social media.

Middle East Eye journalist Mohammad Hazar was also forced out of the building.
