Bangladesh gave 10 thousand Remdesivir to India

The Bangladesh government has sent medical supplies to stand by India during the Corona epidemic due to friendship and humanitarian reasons. On Thursday (May 6) afternoon, 10,000 free injections were sent to India in a freezer van through the port of Benapole.

Representatives of the Bangladesh High Commission in Kolkata received the injection consignment from the Indian port of Petrapole and handed it over to the Government of India. Traders say such assistance will strengthen humanitarian ties as well as humanitarian issues during the crisis in neighboring India.

Currently, there is an epidemic in India. The number of victims there is around 4 lakh every day. The daily death toll among the victims has exceeded three and a half thousand. The procession of victims is increasing. The situation is so bad that India is currently ranked second in the world in terms of attacks and third in terms of deaths. In such a situation there is a crisis of various medical equipments including oxygen. In this time of crisis, Bangladesh has provided injection assistance used in corona prevention treatment to India for humanitarian reasons and friendship.

When the injection consignment enters India from Benapole port, the medical supplies are unloaded from a Bangladeshi freezer van to an Indian freezer van. The representatives of the Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner in Calcutta received these and formally handed them over to the representative of the Government of India. In the first consignment, 334 cartons of 10,000 remedicines were injected into India.
