US citizens advised not to travel to Bangladesh

The US government has failed miserably to contain the epidemic of coronavirus. And so the Foreign Office has advised the citizens of the country not to travel to Bangladesh this time to prevent corona infection. He also advised not to visit India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, and the Maldives.

The US State Department issued a statement on Thursday (April 22nd), The Financial Express reported.

The country’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level-4 Travel Health Notice for Bangladesh. The agency says corona infections are spreading in Bangladesh at the moment. The United States has banned India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Maldives for the same reason in their Level-4 notices.

On the same day, Washington issued warnings to its citizens to travel to China, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka. These four countries in the region have been identified as Level-1.

The United States, the world’s most powerful country, has so far had the highest number of infections and deaths from the corona. So far, 3 crore 26 lakh 35 thousand 604 people have been infected with corona in the country which is at the top of the list. 5 lakh 65 thousand 75 people have died.
