Bomb attack targets Chinese ambassador to Pakistan

A luxury hotel in Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan, has been attacked by a bomb, targeting the Chinese ambassador. At least four people were killed in the horrific attack.

In this attack, 12 people were injured as well. The Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack. Police said the attack took place in the parking lot of the Serena Hotel on Wednesday night. The Chinese ambassador to Pakistan stayed at the hotel with 4 associates.

However, he was not at the hotel at the time of the attack. Preliminary investigations revealed that a car loaded with explosives exploded in the parking lot. The whole area was locked down immediately after the incident.

The search operation is over. Pakistan has been in turmoil for some time over the insult to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in France. An organization called TLP has been demanding the expulsion of the French ambassador.
