Veteran Bangladeshi Actor Wasim buried at Banani Cemetery

Wasim, a popular actor of Dhaka cinema, buried at Banani Cemetery in the capital.

Actor Zayed Khan, general secretary of the Film Artists’ Association, said he was buried after the Janazah on Sunday.

The actor breathed his last at Shahabuddin Medical College Hospital in the capital at 12.40 pm on Saturday. He had been ill at home for some time.

Wasim was one of the top heroes in the film from 1983 to 1990. Wasim was an unrivaled actor in folk fantasy and action films.

Wasim made his film debut with Mohsin’s ‘Raat Par Din’. The first film was a commercial success. Wasim did not have to look back after that. One hit picture after another continues to give gifts. Wasim has acted in 152 films in total.
