Mesut Ozil is sending food for Rohingya children

German footballer Mesut Ozil will provide food aid to Rohingya children on the occasion of Holy Ramadan. According to a Turkish media report, Ozil donated USD 120,060 to the Turkish Red Crescent Society for distressed and helpless children during the holy month of Ramadan.

The money donated by Ozil will be used to buy Iftar and food for underprivileged children in different parts of the world. A part of which will also come to Bangladesh.

According to The Turkish Red Crescent Society, 750 food parcels will arrive in the hands of Rohingya Muslim children in Bangladesh.

In addition, food will be distributed to 2600 people in Turkey. Besides, 1000 food packets will be sent to Indonesia. Ozil’s Iftar food will also be sent to Idlib in Syria and Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.

Dr. Krem Kinik, president of the Turkish Red Crescent, said that for many years, Ozil has been working to bring smiles to the faces of thousands of children in different countries.
