Eminent Bangladeshi actress Kobari in ‘Life Support’

Former MP, actress, and producer Sarah Begum Kobari, who was infected with the coronavirus, is in critical condition.

Kabari, who is undergoing treatment at Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Institute and Hospital in the capital, was taken to Life Support at 4 pm on Thursday, hospital director Prof Farooq Ahmed told bdnews24.com.

Kabari’s son Shaker Chishti told bdnews24.com: “My mother’s condition is very complicated now. I am asking the people to pray for him. ”

The 61-year-old actress has been suffering from kidney complications for a long time; Doctors said he suffered severe lung damage after being infected with the coronavirus. Besides, he also has a physical weakness.

Kabari was admitted to Kurmitola General Hospital in the capital on April 5 after the coronavirus report came positive.

He was later transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Sheikh Russell Gastroliver Institute and Hospital on April 8 after his condition deteriorated.
