Pakistan has given special honors to 6 cricket legends

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Saturday inducted the legendary cricketer into the Hall of Fame. This is the first time in the history of the country that a cricketer has been declared a Hall of Fame.

The proposal was approved at a meeting of the PCB’s Board of Governance last Saturday. Among the six cricketers is the country’s Prime Minister and World Cup-winning captain Imran Khan. Also present are Hanif Mohammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, and Zaheer Abbas.

The PCB has said that from now on, three cricketers will be given such honors every year. The independent jury will select these three cricketers. Cricketers who retired from international cricket five years ago will be considered for the Hall of Fame.

The legendary right-handed batsman of Pakistan said after receiving the award, “I feel honored to receive this recognition. Every athlete dreams of getting recognition for his work. I am sure when young cricketers hear about this, they will increase their hard work. Every recognition inspires everyone. ‘
