The South African girls are going back without finishing the series

The South African girls came to Bangladesh to play an ODI series against the Bangladesh Women cricket team in this time of Corona. The two teams have already completed four of the five ODIs.

However, due to the deteriorating situation in Bangladesh, the South African team management has decided to return to the country without finishing the series. They have taken such a decision mainly due to the possibility of closure of all international flights from April 14.

If all goes well, the girls of the South African Emerging team will leave Bangaladesh for South Africa tomorrow (Monday). Saiful Alam Chowdhury Nadel, chairman of the women’s wing of the BCB, told Jamuna Television that the players would be brought to Dhaka by chartered flight (today, Sunday). If all goes well, the women cricketers will return to South Africa on Monday.

Earlier, Bangladesh girls have won four ODIs of the Sylhet series. In the fourth ODI, Bangladesh girls won by 110 runs against South African women.
