Zimbabwe lost to Afghanistan in the Test

Afghanistan won the last Test of the two-match series by 6 wickets. In the 2nd innings, Rashid Khan was all out for 28 runs for 6 wickets. In reply, they lost 4 wickets and easily reached the target of 108 runs.

Zimbabwe started the last day with 266 runs for 7 wickets. Donald Tiripano, who batted at No. 9 with Shane Williams, who had scored a century the day before, gave the team an 18-run lead. However, when Tiripano was dismissed for 95, Zimbabwe’s dream of saving the series was shattered.

Shane Williams, on the other hand, was unbeaten on 151 but was all out for 365. Rashid Khan took 4 wickets in the first innings and 6 wickets in the second innings. Afghanistan lost the wicket of Javed Ahmadi in the beginning after batting for 108 runs.

However, Rahmat Shah’s 56-run victory ensured them. He took 3 wickets in the end but it did not affect the victory of the Afghans.
