Ahead of the working-level talks, he said a “specific date” for the conference had not yet been set. But there will be a NATO summit and of course, all NATO leaders will take part in it. ‘

“I invited Joe Biden to attend a NATO summit early next year, at a date to be determined, to discuss important topics, including decisions to be made on whether to maintain or withdraw of the Alliance’s mission in Afghanistan,” he announced during a press conference.

NATO’s adaptation to the new global security environment, the military strengthening of Russia, the rise of China, the tensions between the allies are all subjects to be considered between the leaders of the NATO Alliance during the summit, he stressed.
